Precious metals market review. 06 September 2007
As of 6 September the situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations increase. Today during morning trade session in Asia the gold was characterized by increase in the range $682,00-$688,00 per ounce and at the opening of New York commodity exchange the gold at bid was at the level $687,00. 3 September New York commodity exchange was closed due to holidays.
On Wednesday there was a slack at precious metals market. On metals at American session there was a slight growth. "Bulls" on gold get a support from oil market and US dollar downfall, but, taking into account that today a lot of fundamental data on Europe and the USA are issued, it is worth to wait impulse movements. Strong fluctuations are awaited only tomorrow after a report on employment market in the USA will be published.
London morning fixing 06 August made up $683,50 per ounce while the rate of the National Bank of Ukraine was set at the mark $679,50 per ounce.
