Course of bid at foreign exchange market remained unchanged. Foreign exchange market review. 14 September 2007

At Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market on the eve of week-end the course of bid remained actually unchanged, dollar rate was fluctuating in the same range as a day before, but movement direction had changed. Yesterday the bid took place and closed with descending trend, today on the contrary — by the end of the bid we observe dollar rate growth. The today session started from the mark 5,002/5,007, and later the rate grew up first by 5,005/5,010 and further by 5,008/5,015. At this level the quotations remained till the session closing. On previous day the bid were closed at the mark 5,0005/5,0050 per $1.

Most part of the bargains was concluded by market participants in the same range as a day before — 5,007/5,010 per $1. NBU did not come to the market.

At DEPOT-market today on the eve of week-end the rates on interbank credits decreased slightly, but credits for the term "from 22 up to 31 day" were marked with the growth.

Hryvna "overnight" is quoted in previous range 0,5/1,0% and average weighted price on the concluded bargains still makes up 0,8%.Concluded bargains bulk by 16-00кт makes up UAH 0,909 bln. while UAH 1,611 bln. on Thursday.

The cost of "weekly" resources decreased, its fluctuations were noted in the range 1,8/2,6 while 2,0/4,4% a day before. Average cost by 16-00кт decreased by 2,1% from 2,8% on previous day. Bid bulk grew up by UAH 124 mln. from 112 mln., fixed a day before.

Cost of credits for the term "from 22 up to 31 day" is fluctuating today in the range 5,5/7,5% against 5,0/6,4% on the bid of previous day.
