Dynamics of resources cost for different terms is multidirectional. Foreign exchange market review. 17 September 2007

At Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market with the new week beginning the situation had not changed and US dollar rate continued its movement in the range 5,005/5,015. At bid opening the quotations of American currency toward hryvna made up 5,007/5,012 and soon started to decrease having reached minimum of the session at 5,004/5,008. Bid took place in this range for some time, after that an ascending movement recommenced and as a result the rate increased by 5,006/5,013, and further by 5,007/5,018. Despite quotation growth by the end of the session hryvna rate increased slightly and made up 5,008/5,010 UAH/$1.

Conclusion of the most bulk of bargains was fixed in the region as two sessions before — 5,007/5,010 per $1.

NBU did not participate in bid.

At DEPOT-market today the dynamics of resources cost for different terms was multidirectional.

"Overnight" in national currency remains "blocked" in the narrow range 0,5/1,0%, and average weighted price on the concluded bargains as of 16:00 КТ made up 0,9%, while 0,8% according to the results of previous day. Concluded bargains bulk by this very time made up UAH 0,7925 bln. while UAH 1,447 bln. on Friday.

The cost of "weekly" resources decreased, like on Friday, and rates movement today was noted in the range 1,0/4,5%, while 1,8/2,6% a day before. Average cost by 16:00 КТ decreased by  1,5%, from 2,0% on previous day. Bid bulk grew up by 1 834 mln., from UAH 175 mln., fixed a day before.

Cost of credits for the term "from 22 up to 31 day", inversely, gain in strength. The price of these credits is fluctuating today in the range 7,4/8,5%, while 5,5/7,5% on previous day. Average price changed by 7,9%, from 6,2% a day before.
