No change at Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market. Foreign exchange market. 29 November, 2007

There is no significant change at Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market — US dollar against hryvnia keeps staying in the range 5,05/5,06 per $1. In general demand an offer are balanced, but a slight foreign exchange deficit during active bid keeps the rate by maximum marks.

At the opening the rate was at the level 5,045/5,060, but by the middle of the day trade range narrowed by 5,052/5,057, having decreased by the end of bid by 5,04/5,057 per $1, while 5,040/5,055 a day before.

Major part of was concluded today by banks in the range 5,054/5,057, while 5,05/5,056 per $1 at bid on Wednesday.

NBU did not take part in bid today.

There was no change at DEPO-market.

«Overnight» credits rates today fluctuated in some bigger range than yesterday — 1,0/4,7, while 1,0/3,0% on Wednesday. Major part of bargains was concluded today in the range 2,0/2,75%, while 1,75/2,75% a day before. Average weighted «overnight» rate by 17:00 КТ made up 2,4%, that corresponds to closing level on Wednesday. Concluded bargains volume by this time made up UAH 1,7 bln., while 2,15 on Wednesday.

Price for credits for the term «from 2 up to 7 days» decreased by 5,5/7,0%, while 6,0/8,0% on previous day. Average price on concluded bargains decreased on 0,9% by 6,4% annuals. Concluded bargains volume increased by 273 mln., while 125 mln. on Wednesday.

Trade range on credits for the term «from 22 up to 31 day» makes up 8,0/10,0%, while 9,0/12,0% on previous session.

Tomorrow natural for the reporting date rates increase on IBC on all foreign currencies is expected.
