Situation is stable at ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market

At Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market on renewed bids, after long days-off due to Orthodox Christmas, situation remains stable. Vice versa, currency offer today considerably exceeds analogous index of a previous day, as a result hryvnia against American colleague was considerably strengthened.

During a day US dollars quotations were changed within 5,040/5,057, at 5,04/5,06 per $1 on Friday.

By bids closure rate decreased and constituted 5,035/5,045, at 5,05/5,06 a previous day. Majority of bargains was concluded today at the range 5,045/5,053, at 5,048/5,053 per $1 a day before. National Bank did not participate in bids.

At DEPO-market traditional for the beginning of a year decrease of resources cost is observed.

Thus, rates on "overnight" credits today decreased and constituted 1,0/3,0, decreased by 1,0/7,0% on bids during previous business day. Average rate today decreased by 2,3-2,5% from 3,2% on Friday. Volume of concluded bargains by 17:00 КТ constituted UAH 1,6 b, from 2,27 b. a previous day.

Rates on credits for the term "from 2 to 7 days" also decreased. Today their quotation is marked at the range 4,9/5,7%, at 5,0/12,0% at previous bids. Average price on concluded bargains decreased by 5,3%, from 7,2% a day before. Volumes of concluded bargains decreased more than 3 times, by UAH 94 m.

Rates on credits for the term "from 22 to 31 days" are today within 7,0/7,5%, at 13,5% on Friday.

Dollar "overnight" fluctuates today within 4,0/7,5, in Euro — 3,5/5,0% of annuals.
