Quotations are sky-rocketing at precious metals market
As of 20 February situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations increase. Today at morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at $922,00 — $926,00 point per ounce. At New York commodity exchange opening gold at bids was at $921,80 level, afterwards it decreased its position in some extent. 19 February New York commodity exchange closure was fixed at $927,70 figure per ounce.
Futures on gold and other precious metals on Tuesday at COMEX soared up against the background of total rise of price for raw materials including base oil price sky-rocketing. US dollar weakness as well as purchases on behalf of funds also impacted the situation. Futures on gold according to COMEX bids results increased in price by USD 23,70 up to USD 929,80 per ounce. Futures on silver increased in price by 39 cents, up to USD
17,508.
London morning fixing on 20 February constituted $924,85 per ounce, while National Bank of Ukraine rate was established at $916,50 mark per ounce.
