Quotations decrease at precious metals market
As of April 11, situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations decrease. Today during morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at the level $925,00-$930,00 per ounce. While opening New York Mercantile Exchange gold on bids was at the level $927,00, then it slightly increased. April 10, closure was fixed on $929,40 per ounce on New York Mercantile Exchange.
Gold prices at bids in New York decreased on Thursday, that was stipulated most of all by positions liquidation against background of some US dollar strengthening. In accordance with results of bids at СОМЕХ, subdivision of New York Mercantile Exchange prices of gold futures decreased on $ 5,70 — up to $ 931,80 per troy ounce. Silver futures fell 15,7 cents and finished bids on the mark of $18,043 per ounce.
On Monday (14.04.2008) gold quotations will be located on the mark USD 928, 00 per ounce.
London morning fixing on April 11, constituted $925,50 per ounce, when rate of National Bank of Ukraine was set on the mark $934,25 per ounce.
