Quotations decrease at precious metals market

As of May 12, situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations decrease. Today during morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at the level $876,00-$885,00 per ounce. While opening New York Mercantile Exchange gold at bids was at the level $881,80, then slightly decreased. May 9, at New York Mercantile Exchange closure was fixed $884,00 per ounce.

Gold and silver quotations became more expensive. Among factors causing precious metals becoming more expensive, it is possible to accentuate increasing oil prices. It is not worth to forget about American currency weakening. Gold futures was closed on the mark $889,50 per ounce.

Silver futures was closed at COMEX at the level $16,85 per ounce.

For tomorrow slight decrease of gold prices is expected, and cost of one ounce constitutes $875,00— $880,00.

London morning fixing on May 12, constituted $882,50 per ounce, when rate of National Bank of Ukraine was set on the mark $887,25 per ounce.
