Gold quotations at precious metals market decreased. Precious metals market review. 27 November, 2007
As of 27 November situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations decrease. Today during morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at the level $824,00-$827,00 per ounce. While opening New-York commodity exchange gold on bids reached $813,00, then increased a little bit. 26 November on commodity exchange in New-York closure was fixed at the mark $826,30 per ounce and reached $837,00.
We think that quotations lost considerable part of earlier achieved positions, when price for troy ounce on «yellow metal» reached USD 837,00. Positions loss by gold was caused by investors' desire to fix profit. Besides it is not worth to forget that oil quotations demonstrated some decrease in accordance with the results on Monday, that also limited growth of gold cost.
London morning fixing on 27 November constituted $823,25 per ounce, when rate of National Bank of Ukraine was fixed at the mark $836,25 per ounce.
