Price on gold at precious metals market keeps growing

As of 12 December situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations increase. Today during morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at the level $806,00-$809,00 per ounce. While opening New-York commodity exchange gold at bids was at the level $809,00, then, increased a little bit. 11 December at commodity exchange in New-York closure was fixed at the figure $811,60 per ounce.

Futures cost on gold during after -trade session decreased, having smoothed over the results of the initial growth, against background of closing of USD short positions after disclosure of decision about interest rates shortening. During electronic bids gold future became cheaper on $10.1, by $803.4 per troy ounce (relating to the level of previous closure). In long-term perspective decrease of USD interest rate will lead to investments outflow from treasury bonds, and will favor attractiveness increase of more profitable assets, including gold and other precious metals. Besides, by the end of bids future on silver grew on $0.015, by $14.865 per troy ounce.

London morning fixing on 12 December constituted $807,50 per ounce, when rate of National Bank of Ukraine was fixed at the mark $806,75 per ounce.
