At precious metals market — quotations increase

As of 03 January situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations increase. Today during morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at the level $856,20-$860,00 per ounce. While opening New-York commodity exchange gold on bids was at the level $864,00 then decreased a little bit. 02 January at commodity exchange in New-York closure was fixed on the figure $856,70 per ounce.      

2 January gold overstepped psychologically important border in USD 850 per ounce. Its character of safety shelter was strengthened by growing prices on oil, dollar weakening and geopolitical tension. It was followed by other metals: platinum reached record height, silver reached the highest level since middle of November.

London morning fixing on 02 January constituted $865,35 per ounce, when rate of National Bank of Ukraine was set on the mark $840,75 per ounce.
