Quotations increase at precious metals market

As of 9 January situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations increase. Today during morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at the level $880,00-$888,10 per ounce. While opening New-York commodity exchange gold on bids was at the level $882,00, then decreased a little bit. 8 January at commodity exchange in New-York closure was fixed on the figure $877,50 per ounce.

Future's price on gold increased on $18,40 or 2% more, by $878,00 per troy ounce, in accordance with bids results at commodity and raw materials exchange. During bids daily maximum in $878,40 per ounce was fixed, that increases absolute maximum for contract with nearest delivery date at COMEX, being set on 21 January 1980 on the mark $875,00 per ounce. Price of the most active future on gold increased on $18,30 or 2% more, by $880,30 per ounce. By bids closure in New-York contract price increased on $17,70, by $880,10 per ounce. Futures prices on silver were growing together with gold one. Future price on silver increased at COMEX on 52,5 cents, by $15,815 per ounce. Soon after bids closure in New-York, in Chicago contract cost $15,817 per ounce, that corresponds growth on 52,7 cents during a day.

London morning fixing on 9 January constituted $887,85 per ounce, when rate of National Bank of Ukraine was set on mark $873,25 per ounce.
