Quotations at precious metals market keep increasing

As of 17 January situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations increase. Today during morning trade session in Asia gold was traded at the level $880,10-$885,00 per ounce. While opening New-York commodity exchange gold on bids was at the level $885,40, then slightly increased. 16 January at commodity exchange in New-York closure was fixed on the figure $880,90 per ounce.

Gold price on Wednesday sharply decreased due to growth of US dollar against main currency. Oil quotations decrease favored to gold prices decrease. In accordance with trade session contract on gold delivery became cheaper on $20,60, or on 2,3%, by $882,00 per troy ounce. Prices on other metals decreased. Contract on silver supply decreased on $0,405, or on 2,5%, by $15,895 per troy ounce.

London morning fixing 17 January constituted $881,50 per ounce, when rate of National Bank of Ukraine was fixed on the mark $881,00 per ounce.
