US dollar has improved its position at interbank

At Ukrainian inter-bank foreign currency market situation for US currency somewhat improved after rapid decrease of US dollar quotations a day earlier.

The bids opened in wide range — about 5,005/5,040 thus displaying differently oriented opinion of market participants concerning further situation. But soon "happy medium" was established in the limits of 5,015/5,025 per $1 where the main part of bids was realized. By the closure of session, quotations were established in the range of 5,005/5,025, with 5,00/5,02 index a day earlier.

The majority of transactions were concluded today in the range of 5,017/5,022, with 5,005/5,020 index at previous bids on Wednesday.  

At DEPO-market today's bids showed that credit resources rise peak in national currency caused by insufficient cash position was left in the past. Rates though being today at high points showed significant decrease in comparison with yesterday at every position. 

"Overnight" rates fluctuated today in the range of 8,0/25,0%, with 14,0/25,0% index a day earlier. Weighted average rate for transactions by 17:00 KT decreased by fourth and constituted  15,2%, with 20,7% index according to Wednesday results. Concluded bargains volume by the same time constituted UAH 2,33 b, with 2,77 b according to bids results on the  previous day.

 Credit rates for the term "from 2 to 7 days" also increase. Their fluctuations today is marked at the range 12,0/25,4%, at 9,0/25,0% on Wednesday. Average weighted price decreased by 15,8%, from 18,0% yesterday. Volume of concluded bargains increased by UAH 325 m., at 188 m. in accordance with results of Wednesday.

Rates on credits for the term «from 22 to 31 day» constituted today 10/15%, at 15/17% a previous day.
