US dollar increased at Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market
International foreign exchange market. For today rates of euro and Swiss franc practically did not change. US dollar slightly increased. However British pound sharply weakened against American dollar. Rate of unique European currency against British pound reached its highest level. Such reaction is caused by the fact that possibility to decrease discount rate of European Central Bank. Analysts are sure that for the inflation fight interest rate will be at the level of 4 % at the meeting that will take place on Thursday.
US Stock Market was opened today by slight decrease after information that Alcoa Inc. company will not receive in whole the majority of its profit for the first quarter of 2008.
Technical analysis of time schedules shows that slow growth of USD rate is expected in perspective.

At Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market US dollar increased at bids of today on 0,5-1,0 kopecks in comparison with previous day having restored part of losses borne on Monday. It caused by situation at inrerbank credits market that allows banks to refuse sales of currency with any rate and wait till more appropriate sale rate.
In spite of strengthening American currency during session did not leave the range in 5,00/5,01 per $1, spending majority of bids within 5,003/5,008.
Majority of bargains was concluded today by market participants within 5,004/5,0075, with 5,000/5,003 per $1 on Monday.
Today DEPO-market remains unchangeable excluding "night resources" which movement of rates differs depending on currency.
Thus, "overnight" rates in UAH slightly increased and fluctuated during a day within 9,0/12,0%, with 7,0/12,0% on Monday. Average weighted price on concluded bargains at 17:00 КТ increased by 10,5%, with 9,6% in accordance with results of previous day. Volume of concluded bargains by this time constituted UAH 2,85 b, at UAH 4,04 b in accordance with results of previous day.
Rates on credits for the term "from 2 to 7 days" are considerably stable. Thus fluctuation range decreased today by 12,0/16,0% from 10/18% on Monday, however average price constituted 13,8%, with 13,9% during bids of yesterday. Volumes of concluded bargains, nevertheless, decreased considerably and constituted 282 m, with UAH 439 m on Monday.
Rates on credits for the term "from 22 to 31 days" constitute today 12,0/20,0%, with 7,0/17,0% a day before. However average price of concluded bargains constituted just 13,9%, with 13,3% yesterday.
US dollar offer for "overnight" term increased considerably, as a result rates decreased by the end of the day by 3,0/4,5%, from 4,5/7,0% a day before.
