Gold futures quotations decreased
As of April 18, situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations decrease. Today at morning trade session in Asia, gold was traded at $920,00-$944,80 per ounce. Gold trade on New York Mercantile Exchange was opened at $923,00 level, afterwards it decreased somewhat its position. On April 17, New York Mercantile Exchange closure was fixed at $939,30 per ounce.
Gold prices decreased at bids on New York Mercantile Exchange against the background of profit fixation. As a whole, trading was conducted within narrow range. The US dollar decreased but no sharp fluctuations were observed while oil prices fell down from their record high. According to COMEX trading results, gold futures quotations decreased by $ 5,402 — to $ 942,90 per Troy ounce. Silver futures decreased in price by 2 cents and closed the bids at $ 18,305 per ounce.
On April 21, gold quotations are expected at the mark of $ 941,00 per ounce.
The exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine was established at $951,50 per ounce.
