No changes at Ukrainian inter-bank market
International foreign exchange market. Today US dollar slightly decreased against EUR. Investors do not want to risk against background of European stock markets decrease. EUR was supported by good data on the activity level in services sector of euro zone issued today. However not very good quarterly accounts of the banks will hardly support EUR soon. Oil at bids reached record price — in USD 120 per barrel.
Today it was known that for the last week sales at retail network of the USA increased 1,4%. Specialists keep talking about USA economics slow-down, but technical indicators show that US dollar will keep growing for the nearest future.

At Ukrainian inter-bank foreign exchange market there were practically no changes since yesterday. Number of customers sharply increased and as a result US currency price increased 0,5-1,5 kopecks. As yesterday, bids were opened within 4,82/4,8450. Majority of bargains was concluded by market participants within 4,82/4,8, with 4,81/4,83 per $1 during bids of yesterday. By the end of trade session rate increased by the level UAH 4,86 per USD 1.
At DEPO-market offer of national currency was at high level. "Overnight" rate in UAH started bids in the morning from 10/15%, but by the end of the day decreased, as yesterday — by 8,5/13,5%. Average weighted price on concluded bargains at 17:00 КТ constituted 10,4%, at 11,9% on May 5, volume of concluded bargains constituted UAH 2,67 b, with 1,97 b. on April 30.
Credit rates for the term "from 2 to 7 days" fluctuate at the level 10/16%, that is lower than yesterday's level 13,5/17,0% p.a. Average weighted price on concluded bargains decreased by 11,2%, at 14,7% in accordance with results of bids on Monday.
Credit rates for the term "from 22 to 31 days" on actually concluded bargains are today higher than yesterday's level 8,5/13,5%. Today rates constituted 13/18%.
Dollar "overnight" is quoted today by banks within 4,5/6,0%, at 3,5/6% on Monday; euro "overnight" — 4/5,5, at 4,5/5,5% p.a. at bids on May 5.
