Quotations decrease at precious metals market

As of June 25, situation at precious metals market was characterized by quotations decrease. Today at morning trade session in Asia, gold was traded at $887.30 — $887.20 per ounce. Gold trade on New York Mercantile Exchange was opened at $886.00 level, afterwards it increased somewhat its position. On June 24, New York Mercantile Exchange closure was fixed at $889.40  per ounce.

Gold futures quotations increased in price as a response to the US dollar descent. But as a whole, trading was inactive because traders expect results of two-days session of Commission on transactions at the open market of the US Federal Reserve System (the Fed). According to COMEX trading results, gold futures quotations increased in price by $4.40 up to $891.60 per Troy ounce. Silver futures could not increase as gold ones after active sale on Monday and dropped even more by 15.7 cents to $16.633 with trading being immovable.

On June 26, gold price is expected within the range of $880.00-$890.00 per Troy ounce.

London morning fixing on June 25 amounted to $887,25 per ounce, while the exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine was fixed at $888,50   per ounce.
